Butterfly Shower Curtains

There are so many butterfly shower curtains available these days - so where do you start? Here's a mini-review of 7 different butterfly shower curtains to get you off the ground.

The Tommy Hilfiger Butterfly Kisses Shower Curtain (72 x 75 in; 100% cotton twill) is my personal favorite. It has large, colorful butterfly silhouettes on a white background. Personally I prefer the clean lines of the Tommy Hilfiger because they give any bathroom a modern look. You can definitely tell that the Tommy Hilfiger was created by a designer, as opposed to some of the cheaper curtains which aren't as good looking.

Another modern-looking butterfly shower curtain is the "Butterfly Garden Shower Curtain" (70 x 72 in; 100% polyester) from WhalesDirect. It also has a white background, and smaller colored butterfly silhouettes. The Butterfly Garden also has a frieze look just below the top of the curtain which might appeal to those of us with a preference for more color.

The next shower curtain I want to mention is the Blue Butterfly Heavy Duty Vinyl Shower Curtain (72 x 72 in; 100% vinyl) from BedBathStore. It features a nice collection of butterflies in different shades of blue on a clear background. This curtain would appeal to those with a bit of a quirky taste and I would definitely recommend showing it to all members of the household before purchasing.

Still on fashionable shower curtains, the "Vinyl Butterfly Shower Curtain" (72 x 72 in; 100% vinyl) from Target also has a fairly fresh design, without the high price tag of the Tommy Hilfiger. It features two large butterflies on a white background and looks great with matching butterfly curtain hooks also for sale.

Now if you prefer a more country or rural look, you'll want to go for some of these shower curtains which feature more detailed butterflies. The "Butterfly Meadow" Shower Curtain (70 x 72 in; cotton / polyester) from Lenox looks like it comes straight out of a country house in France. It features flowers as well as detailed butterflies on a white background.

Next we have the White Embroidered Daisy & Butterfly Motif Shower Curtain (70 x 72 in; 100% polyester) from Everyday Home Outlet. As the name suggests, it features a smattering of daisies and butterflies on a white background. This curtain would fit in any home with a country-style decor, yet it is more modern than the Lenox curtain we discussed above.

One curtain that I absolutely cannot stand the sight of is the Fresh Pastel Butterfly and Flower Print Shower Curtain (70 x 72 in; 50% polyester, 50% cotton) from Everyday Home Outlet. It is a disgusting shade of green and looks like it comes straight out of the hospital.
